Cogstate Bolsters Mood Disorder Expertise, Welcoming Dr. Luka Lucić as Senior Director of Clinical Science in Psychiatry

New Haven, CT – August 18, 2025 – Cogstate, a leading neuroscience technology company, today announced the appointment of Luka Lucić, PhD, as Senior Director, Clinical Science, Psychiatry. Dr. Lucić brings more than a decade of experience in psychiatric scale administration within global biopharmaceutical programs and extensive expertise in developing and leading clinical trial training initiatives across psychiatry, neurodevelopment, and rare disease indications.

In his new role, Dr. Lucić will lead endpoint management and data quality for global clinical trials in psychiatry and related CNS therapeutic areas. Drawing on his deep expertise in mood disorders and clinical research, he will help collaborate with biopharmaceutical teams to ensure Cogstate delivers the highest scientific standards and operational excellence.

Dr. Lucić is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Science and Cultural Studies at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He served on the Board of Directors of the Jean Piaget Society from 2017 to 2021 and was an Adult Literacy Fellow at New York City’s Office of the Mayor. He earned his PhD in Developmental Psychology from The City University of New York (CUNY).
