- Introduction
Although CogState ClinicalTrials is very easy to use, we place significant emphasis on training staff at clinical study sites to administer the tests correctly. During CogState testing, each subject should be supervised by a trained test supervisor. Test supervisors can be any member of site study staff, as long as they successfully complete the CogState training and workbook. A signed record of this training is retained with study documentation at the site.
There are several training options available, depending on your requirements:
- On-site training by a CogState representative is recommended and is the most common method of conducting the training. This typically takes one day. When completed, the study staff will be ready to test study subjects (appropriate for small studies).
- CogState representation at your investigator meeting, to provide an introduction to the CogState tests and training for investigators, study site staff and study monitors (typical choice for large studies).
For the duration of your trial, your dedicated project manager will be the main point of contact for you and the study sites. We provide 24-hour technical support to our clients and study sites throughout the trial. You will also have access to our team of scientists should you require it.
